BROKEN

• Duet: Amy with Shaun Morgan from Seether
• First aired: July 20, 2004
• Album: Disclaimer II (by Seether)
• Filmed: in mid March 2004
• Director: Nigel Dick
• Info: Collaboration between Seether and lead singer Amy Lee. Amy Lee co-produced the string arrangement with Double G. Broken was written years before Shaun Morgan met Amy Lee. When Seether was making Disclaimer in 2002, the band wanted Amy Lee to collaborate before the world ever knew about Evanescence. The label balked at the idea until two years later when the Punisher’s soundtrack was compiled.
• The video for the song is a live performance video filmed in an abandoned area of the Lancaster Desert in California. There used to be a crystal meth lab there, before it blew up twice. They filmed the video on the scene as it was. This is the second single off of the Punisher soundtrack (Drowning Pool’s Step Up was the first) and the first single off of Seether’s remixed Disclaimer II.
